Matisyahu To Record LIVE AT STUBB’S VOL. IV on Nov 5, 2017

Matisyahu, who broke out with his 2005 Live At Stubb’s album that was certified gold in less than a year, returns to the venue where it all started. On Sunday, November 5th, the Grammy nominated artist is back in Austin, TX to film and record another historic night in the “Live Music Capitol of the World” with Live At Stubb’s Vol. IV.

Fans can expect the live energy of the first three volumes, but with the most refined and cohesive Matisyahu to date reflective of his newest album, Undercurrent, which was released earlier this year via Thirty Tigers and Matisyahu’s own imprint, Fallen Sparks. The album embodies a collaborative and free-form spirit as Matisyahu and his band seamlessly merge instrumental improvisation sessions with lyrics and vocals. The synergistic energy of the album is especially apparent onstage, where Matisyahu and guitarist Aaron Dugan, bassist Stu Brooks, drummer Joe Tomino and keyboardist Big Yuki bring their creative dynamic to life.

The Stubb’s Austin show is part of the “Broken Crowns Tour” featuring direct support from Common Kings and Orphan. To celebrate the tour Matisyahu and Common Kings have released a collaborative single, aptly titled “Broken Crowns,” showcasing a relaxed atmosphere and deep lyrical content. This modern reggae anthem is sure to resonate with music lovers around the globe. In addition to Matisyahu, all sets from the night will be recorded including Common Kings, whose debut album Lost In Paradise debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart, so fans can expect the inaugural Common Kings Live At Stubbs forthcoming as well!

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness history in the making, when Matisyahu hits the stage at Stubb’s for the fourth volume in one of the most successful live album series to date.
