Southern rock maiden Emily Wolfe celebrated her birthday last Friday at Stubb’s by electrifying the crowd with a fiery set of bluesy Delta stompers, seductive slow burners and straight-up Rock n’ Roll. A self-taught guitar phenom with powerful vocals, Wolfe was born to rock. Her impassioned live sets burst with raw emotions of vulnerability and empowerment. Last November, Wolfe released her teaser single “Holy Roller” and is currently working on her self-titled, full-length debut due out this Summer. The album has been over two years in the making and Wolfe has finally reached a place where she can release it as an independent artist without a label. We certainly can’t wait to hear what this guitar goddess has put together.
